ORDER OF ACCREDITATION OF MASS MEDIA

At 10 a.m. – Solemn meeting of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on occasion of taking an oath by the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko to the Ukrainian people (5 Hrushevskoho str., session hall).   

Accreditation of mass media is carried out by the Press service

of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Secretariat

on June 5, from 10 a.m. till 5 p.m.

Workers of national Television and Radio Companies can be accredited by the phone number 255-27-95,   

workers of editorial staff of other national mass media – by the phone number 255-35-87,

workers of foreign mass media – by the phone number 255-28-32

Changes to the lists after accreditation will not be made.

Access of mass media will be made from 8 a.m. till 9:30 a.m. from the Constitution Square only from the side of Mariinskyi Palace (from monument of general Vatutin through square near Mariinskyi Palace in direction of its left wing). One camera crew from a TV channel and one journalist and one photo correspondent from editorial staff of other mass media will be allowed (upon availability of a passport and editorial license).  

The event will be broadcast live at National Television Company of Ukraine and “Rada” TV channel.

At 11 a.m. – Ceremony of presenting commanders of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and raising the Flag of the President of Ukraine (Sophia Square).

Access of mass media will be made from 9 a.m. till 10:30 a.m. from Velyka Zhytomyrska str. One camera crew from a TV channel and one journalist and one photo correspondent from editorial staff of other mass media will be allowed (upon availability of a passport and editorial license).

THE PROCEDURE OF WORK OF MASS MEDIA REPRESENTATIVES DURING THE SOLEMN MEETING OF THE VERKHOVNA RADA OF UKRAINE

In view of limited possibilities of the building of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, a great number of invited Distinguished guests and the safety situation in the state, there shall be proposed special conditions for journalists and technical mass media personnel during the inauguration ceremony in order to perform their editorial tasks.

We inform that press-box on the balcony of the session hall shall be booked exclusively for official TV and photo journalists that accompany numerous delegations of the Distinguished foreign guests.

The press area, near the first porch of the building of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine at the address 5 Hrushevskoho Street, shall be provided for national and foreign mass media representatives for the purpose of telephotography of the arrival of a newly elected Head of the State and the Distinguished guests to the Parliament.   

After the inauguration ceremony, mass media representatives will be able to receive comments near the building of the Parliament.

The event will be broadcast live at National Television Company of Ukraine.
